Postcard Call

I have a feeling that most of you who read my blog also subscribe to the Letter Writers Alliance blog, but if you do not and would like to help a school out in collecting postcards - 1.5 million to be exact. Please take a moment and read.

I think part of the reason I am so on board is that I watched a documentary called Paperclips from 2004.  Mail played a huge part in the film connecting people from all over the world to these school children.  Here's the previews.

Plus I lived in Iowa for a few years, and am proud for the state that there is an Anne Frank connection!  So much so, that I am going to try to get my friends to send one for there children by sending kits.  We'll see how that goes.

Remember postcards can touch lives in ways most of us can never imagine!

P.s. I love my netflix and you can instantly watch this film on there.

  1. That looks like a great movie. I've never heard of it before now. I definitely want to watch the whole thing.

  2. Such heartbreaking but beautiful projects. I will definitely be sending a postcard.
