When you are required to pack up all your goodies and change spaces, it gives you some time to catalog what "stuff" you actually have. Sometimes we think we still have something from years ago and sometimes we think we got rid of it.
Turns out I still had this!
Pristine in its box and beautiful. Now where to put it?!? I struggle with whether I should take it out of the box, but I've always been more of a utilitarian.
Hope this brings a smile to your faces! It certainly brought one to mine.
Happy finding!

That's really neat! I agree. It's always more fun to enjoy an item rather than just look at it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! We don't have anything like that, but I did find a small, decorative mailbox that my son and I use to leave each other notes. It sits on our kitchen table.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! that's why i like to move: it's a good time to re-find treasures we had and forgot!Put it somewhere where you can see it every day!
ReplyDeleteI've yet to find a metal postal bank, but I have two wooden blue mailboxes that are children's toys thanks to my local thrift stores. :)
ReplyDeleteI have one that looks very similar to this one, but I think mine is a little older? It doesn't have any of the modern us post office graphics and it's cast iron!
